Il baranggay (pronuncia: baɾaŋˈɡaj, spagnolo e in inglese: barangay) è la più piccola unità del governo locale nelle Filippine.
La parola, talvolta abbreviata nelle forme "Brgy" o "Bgy", in lingua tagalog indica un borgo, una contrada, o un ward ed è stata ripristinata sotto la presidenza Marcos in sostituzione del termine barrio.
Municipalità e città filippine sono composte da baranggay. Al 31 dicembre 2006 in tutte le Filippine si contavano un totale di 41.995 baranggay.[1]
